Episode #1 – A Peek Inside ‘A Life Designed’
Welcome to the inaugural video post of A Life Designed! I am extremely excited to share this project with you. In this first installment we spend an amazing summer afternoon exploring downtown Seattle as I capture the sights and sounds of this vibrant city through my camera.
The episode kicks off with a preview of an original song that I will have available for download here on the blog along with several other compositions very soon. I’ve enjoyed a lifelong love affair with music and I’m thrilled to be able share that passion with you here.
Finally, I close out this video by taking a few moments to talk about my hopes, dreams and goals for A Life Designed moving forward and to thank everyone that have already taken such an interest in this labor of love of mine. Your support means the world to me… Grazie!

Episode #2 - A Life Designed - ‘Art of the Bar’
Creativity comes in many forms… Sometimes it’s even right across the bar from you! Such is the case with Swing Wine Bar’s resident ‘mixologist guru’, Brad Knutson. In this video episode of A Life Designed, we get to sample a few of his tasty creations… Ahh the things I do in the name of art!
Swing Wine Bar, overlooking Capitol Lake in downtown Olympia, Washington is full of charm and has an easy, laid back, artistic ‘vibe’ to it. Nestled in an intimate old refurbished house, complete with creaky wood floors and jazz music playing in the background, it’s the perfect place to unwind. And there’s no better time to do so than when Brad Knutson is tending the bar. During this visit we were lucky enough to talk Brad into sharing three of his specialties with us. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did putting it together… Salude!
Randy - A Life Designed

A life designed is such a beautiful concept. A dynamic liquid sculpture. A fountain of sunshine. A scent of fresh mist. A choral ambrosia pulling your heart strings along.
What Teresa Bower said . . .
I’m so impressed Randy. I knew you were talented in high school, but yowser. I also don’t know where I’m typing this, but I hope it gets to you. You’re fantastic. Hope to see you playing around Oly someday. Cindy (sibum) Hinchcliffe
Thank you both for the kind words!
