American Gigolo… A Cinematic ‘Tipping Point’ in Men’s Fashion.

The 1980 motion picture American Gigolo, a stylish crime drama directed by Paul Schrader, redefined  men’s fashion, and in the process helped to launch the careers of both Richard Gere and a still mostly unknown designer, Giorgio Armani.
