One of my favorite memories growing up of my father was going to visit him at his office. For a small boy, the thrill of getting to sit in Dad’s chair at a desk that while in retrospect, I’m sure was small, seemed immense and all-powerful to me was a treat to be savored. Makin’ time in style @ A Life Designed!
I’m loving this new industrial retro clock find for A Life Designed’s ‘Man Cave!’ Picked this up on sale, (of course), at the unique furniture store Potato Barn in Scottsdale, AZ. If you are in the market for a statement piece that isn’t cookie-cutter, check them out. This particular clock is big, bold, chunky and full of industrial-chic, retro goodness. Now I have absolutely no excuse to ever be late again!

In the 2006 movie ‘Under The Tuscan Sun’, Diane Lane stars as Frances Mayes, a newly-divorced writer in search of herself who finds a fresh start in the beautiful hills of Tuscany, Italy. Along with the ever-beautiful Lanes’ star turn, the other big scene-stealing attraction was Villa Laura, which doubled for the actual Villa Bramasole owned by the real life Mayes.
