The Mercedes Ener-G-Force

German automaker Mercedes-Benz allows their engineer’s imaginations to run free resulting in the Ener-G-Force Concept SUV.

Looking like a Tonka Truck on steroids, The Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force is rumored to preview the next generation of the G-Class, tentatively scheduled to make its way onto the market in two years (2014), with the 2015 model year in its name.

The Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force Concept is expected to hit the market in two versions, civilian and police, with each of them different characteristics. The Ener-G-Force Concept was designed to store recycled water in roof mounted tanks before being transferred to the hydro-tech converter, which will transform the natural and renewable resources into hydrogen, and the electricity generated during this process can provide a maximum range of 500 miles.

Sting’s ‘Message in a Bottle’… Literally!

Global superstar, singer-songwriter, philanthropist and all around “cool guy”… Sting adds vintner to his résumé.

If I didn’t have a man crush on this ridiculously talented artist already, I absolutely do now! Sting and his wife Trudy Styler over the past few years have entered the wine-making business to much acclaim and fanfare and the results?… Delicious!

Grown on their palatial retreat in the hills of Tuscany, Sting’s vineyard, iL Palagio, has created three offerings to date; Sister Moon – a Sangiovese 40%, Merlot 30%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30% blend, When we Dance – 95% Sangiovese blended with Canaiolo and Colorino grapes and Casino Delle Vie – a blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino e altri vitigni. The wines feature organic and biodynamic grapes and the vineyard also produces honey, olive oil, vegetables and meat products that are sold on-site.

Of his role in the making of the wine, Sting says; “I have a job in the winery, I go down and play to the wine. I practice down there. And you know, if I play in tune, the wine is better.” Lucky wine!

“Let’s Play”— A Tribute To ‘Desperado’

Guitars, sex and violence… This baby had it all.

Director Robert Rodriquez 1995 cult classic Desperado most certainly has to rank right up there in anybody’s Top Ten list of all time favorite ‘guitar’ flicks!

This sexy follow-up to the Rodriquez-directed  independent film El Mariachi takes its stylistic cues from other envelope-pushing directors such as Quentin Tarantino, who has a cameo in the movie and is an exercise in stylized ultra-violence.

Starring Antonio Banderas at his most bad ass as the guitar playing, gun-toting hero out for revenge and the stunningly beautiful Salma HayekDesperado features a fantastic soundtrack and is a guaranteed good time.

If you like a little gun-play with your sex, all set to killer music, (and really, who doesn’t?)… be sure to add Desperado to your Netflix queue, you won’t be sorry!
