When worlds collide — Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Ale! Breakfast anyone?
OK… Here’s one we didn’t see coming! The crafty folks at Rogue Ales in Portland, OR have managed to combine all of the three major food groups; Beer, Maple Doughnuts and Bacon into one tasty beverage with its Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Ale. Clearly, breakfast time will never be quite the same.
Taking its cue from that other beloved Portlandia institution Voodoo Doughnuts, the artisans at Rogue have added the bacon and maple flavor from the popular Voodoo Doughnut of the same name to its Hops and wrapped it in a Pepto-Bismol pink bottle to create a truly one-of-a-kind ale.
While we here at A Life Designed have yet to take this unusual beer out for a test-drive, (frankly we’re a little scared), we have no doubt Voodoo Bacon Maple Doughnut lovers everywhere are rejoicing.
