When Guitars Come Home to Stay.
This morning, as I sipped my beloved Italian Roast and shook the cobwebs from my head, I was looking at my guitar, (pictured above), when an interesting thought crossed my mind. The guitar can mean many things to many people – To me it is a trusted friend, keeper of secrets, confidant and tool for expression. Yet sometimes, if they stick around long enough, guitars can also become a treasured fixture or piece of ‘art’ in the home, as much a part of your decor as a favorite worn-in leather chair or sofa.
This got me to wondering about the interesting ways that other fellow ‘guitar lovers’ have come up with for displaying their six-stringed objects of desire. The images below, (courtesy of Apartment Therapy), shows just a small sampling of the glorious guitar assuming its rightful place in peoples’ homes and making them more beautiful and inviting in the process.
